Roselle Public Library
LOCATION: ROSELLE, NEW JERSEY
Netta Architects was honored to provide planning and design services for the Borough of Roselle’s historic Public Library, originally constructed in 1914. Recognized as an iconic community asset, the library features two small additions that have been integral to its function over the years.
With the potential for state grant funding, the library sought a forward-thinking approach to upgrade and expand its facilities and services. Netta Architects developed an innovative concept and strategic grant proposal to maximize resources while preserving the library’s rich heritage.
The resulting design envisions a new state-of-the-art Public Library, incorporating shared open spaces and parking. The plan emphasizes sustainable design practices and aligns with the Borough’s vision to enhance educational and community services, ensuring the library remains a cornerstone for the community’s future.
