Essex County College

Essex County College retained Netta Architects to design their new campus in West Caldwell. Phase I will consist of a new 60,000-square-foot building and a new 300-car parking deck. The new state-of-the-art facility will replace the existing outdated building and become the initial step in developing the site into a traditional campus.

The building was designed to serve as a statement piece for the College and purposely sighted the building fronting Bloomfield Avenue to develop a sense of place for the campus. The new building contains administrative office space, a one-stop admission center, classrooms, labs, and an auditorium/lecture hall.
