Piscataway Community and Cultural Center

PISCATAWAY, NEW JERSEY

A Community Hub Designed for Health, Wellness, and Connection

Netta Architects was selected to design a new 83,300-square-foot Community Center that brings together recreation, wellness, culture, and community engagement in one modern, flexible facility. Designed to serve residents of all ages, the center provides welcoming spaces that promote healthy lifestyles, lifelong learning, and social connection.

The facility features a state-of-the-art competition aquatic center, a full-service fitness center, an elevated indoor running track, and a dedicated wellness center supporting health and fitness programs. Additional amenities include youth activity spaces, multipurpose community rooms, dance studios, a cultural arts gallery, and administrative offices, creating opportunities for recreation, education, and community events under one roof.

Designed with long-term flexibility in mind, the project also includes provisions for a future outdoor spray park, allowing the facility to expand as community needs evolve. Sustainable design strategies are integrated throughout the building, which is being designed to achieve LEED® Silver certification through energy-efficient systems, responsible material selection, and environmentally conscious building practices.

Netta Architects is creating a vibrant civic destination that balances functionality, sustainability, and exceptional user experience—delivering a community asset that will serve generations to come.
