Netta Architects Announces Two New Members to Staff
NETTA ARCHITECTS, the award-winning architectural firm in Mountainside NJ, is pleased to announce the addition of two new staff, strengthening our municipal, education and planning studios.
THOMAS DORES, AIA
PROJECT ARCHITECT
Mr. Dores joins Netta Architects after working as an architect and project manager on various large commercial and residential projects. In addition to his versatile background in design, management, and construction, he brings commitment and experience in design of urban environments and infrastructure, with a focus on ecological and sustainable land use. Through his recent Master of Science studies, he gained expertise in large-scale planning and the latest tools for 3-D visualizations, animation, and graphic design. He brought those design and presentation skills together in 2016, winning an award for his team’s urban design proposal for Sao Paolo. This award is the first of many that we look forward to from this promising young talent.
FARIS SELIM, AIA Associate
PROJECT CAPTAIN
Mr. Selim brings decades of experience in design and project management adding depth to the firm’s expertise in K-12 and Higher Education projects. His diverse background includes work on all phases of architectural planning and design for new construction, renovations and interior fit-out for healthcare, municipal, multi-family residential, corporate, retail and hospitality clients. He brings the energy, collaborative spirit and skill to engage multiple user groups on complex projects for clients such as the Port Authority of NY/NJ, the Army Corps of Engineers, and the US Postal Service. Mr. Selim’s professional interests and the pursuit of continuing education in sustainability and technology dovetail with Netta Architects’ commitment to bringing creativity and technical innovation to design solutions for our clients.
